Those of you who recieved the 2004 Espresso Calendar, might remember the star of September that year was a 13oz steak with bags of personality.

A couple of years later, Espresso Head Chef, Philip Vallentin, decided it was time to give this little guy his own 45 second adventure in the form of one of our ever popular 'Espresso Goof-Off Projects' .

An homage to the great silent comedies of the 1920s, this combination of delicious live action (shot in the glamorous alley behind the studio), mouth watering 3D modelling and animation and succulent compositing, sees the newly christened Sir Lion, makes a last ditch attempt at freedom!
